This design is based on the Selkirk Mountain range near Revelstoke, BC.

Design origins: I originally began drawing with geometric shapes as a method to ease some of my attention deficit symptoms. This naturally turned into a creative outlet. I began drawing mountain ranges and other abstract designs, adding different geometric shapes and lines to represent different textures in the landscape.

The Unsung Series is derived from the concept of the human lens. The only view we have is a human one. How we view and value living things in the world is based on their ‘value’ to us. Do they help us, hinder us, are they cute, or scary? This is not their innate value in the world, only as we see them, how we experience them.

A slug is more then a garden pest. They play a crucial role in the garden despite their appetite. They help with decomposition, recycling, and circulating nutrients in the soil along with being an important part of the food chain. A valuable creature for exactly what it is. They may look like aliens, but they belong here as much as you and I.

Design Origin: The oak tree symbolizes longevity, strength, and stability. For the love of nature, and the beautiful trees that surround us everyday.
